One of the fastest man with the ball the agile English and Newcastle United sticker has been in and out of football for the last one year or so. Michael Owen has undergone a successful surgery on the ruptured knee ligament… He is recovering well from it and he may soon be back on the field exhibiting his mesmerizing speed and skill. Owen had broken a bone in his foot last season and could make only one appearance for his club… His own frustration and those of his fans doubled when he had to be carried out of the field in a world cup game against Sweden, owing to the injury he has been operated upon. Though being a big fan of Owen I wish he makes a speedy recover and makes it to the field at the earliest… But one thing that troubles me is to think will he be able to regain his form… Or will this injury take a toll on his career. Will we see him playing again for his club, will they welcome him with the same jubilation with which they signed him. Will the new England’s new coach Steve have a place for him in the squad, nothing may be sure but one thing is sure that after recouping he will have to regain his form to make a place for himself in both the teams.
