Who would have thought of a finish like this, it was a spectacular display of football at White Hart Lane as the Blues chocked, losing their 19-year unbeaten record against Tottenham Hotspurs. It was a game that had all from a vivacious beginning to a phobic end, full of drama, controversies and thrills, the game was a typical example of heroic efforts, extraordinary fervor and vigorous action.

Chelsea may have played their hearts out finding the net a time shot than Spurs, but take nothing away from Martin Jol’s side they deserved the win. The home side exhibited everything that was characteristic of them, and it had to take such an effort to surpass the magnificence of the Blues. Robbie Keane making his 500th league appearance was elegant with the ball, leading the team with example, the way he set up the decisive second goal for the Spurs will surely go down as one of the best runs in my books, and the way the teenager Aaron Lennon finished was immaculate.

The biggest blow for the Blues came when their wall the England Captain Terry was sent off the field on a second yellow card in the 71st minute, with ten men Chelsea found it difficult to find an equalizer. Chelsea is now second on the Premiership table behind the Red Devils who comfortably won at the week end, and stand three points clear of the defending champions.
