Is Arsene Wenger out of his mind!! He believes Gunners display against CSKA Moscow was their best-ever in the UEFA Champions League, despite the game ending in a goalless draw… I had only believed that this goal drought that Arsenal are going through was a sting for the side, but now I think it has traumatized the Coach, who is finding difficult to differentiate… Mr. Wenger games are not won by struggling in the midfield; games are won by scoring goals. Arsenal finishing has been pitiable, they squandered countless scoring opportunities, if they have to make to the last sixteen, Henry and Co. will have to start scoring. (Arsenal at present is second in Group G with 7 points from 4 games, behind the pool leaders CSKA by a point.) The Champions League unfolded another ghastly surprise for the English Clubs. The Red Devils were sent home defeated by FC Copenhagen who had at the weekend had demolished Bolton Wonderers… It may have come as a nightmare for the Premiership leaders and their coach Sir Alex Ferguson, though he is confident of his team and even I believe that Man U will comfortably make it to the knock-out stage. The night was terrible for English Guns but the Spanish Giants Real Madrid cruised into the final sixteen, with a not so impressive victory over Steaua Bucharest. Italians had something to cheer for as Kaka’s good run of form continued as he guided Milan to an emphatic 4-1 victory Anderlecht finishing the game with a hat-trick. The French Champions Leon beat Dynamo Kiev to become the second team to qualify for the playoffs.
