Football is all about money. This was proved once again when Manchester United decided to sell striker Giuseppe Rossi to Spanish club Villarreal for a reported £6.7m fee. It is worth mentioning in this regard that not so long ago Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson termed Rossi as the best young talent in football field and also the future of Manchester United.
The question now arises: Why all of a sudden Ferguson has decided to sell Rossi? Answer is quite simple. He was saying things about Rossi in the media so that rate can go up and now when Villarreal has decided to pay a whopping amount, Mr Ferguson has nothing to do with the talent of Rossi.
Coming to Rossi as a player, he was loaned to Newcastle last season but after two month again loaned to Italian side Parma, where he scored nine goals in 19 matches. Rossi has also scored 13 times in 19 starts for the Manchester United reserve team in his first season at Old Trafford.
