
Ronaldo has emerged as the highest scorer in the FIFA history after scoring his 15th World Cup goal against Ghana in the pre-quarterfinals at Dortmund, Germany. Adriano and Ze Roberto gave two more goals to provide Brazil an inspirable 3-0 victory over Ghana.
Ronaldo needed just five minutes to break Gerd Muller’s tally of 14 when he played a powerful stroke of Kaka to beat opposite defender and then goalkeeper. It was Ronaldo’s 18th successive World cup match.
Riding on Ronaldo’s world record, the Brazilians fully determined to give no chance to Ghana, the African Brazil. Striker Adriano scored the second goal in the 45th minute. It was the 200th World Cup goal for Brazil. Roberto managed to get the third goal in the 84th minute. Brazil will now take on France in the last eight on Saturday in Frankfurt .
