If you are a Chelsea’s playing fanatic - that is if you watch Chelsea play at Stamford Bridge then you are under the scanner from boss Mourinho. The Blues have an awesome home record - Chelsea are undefeated for the last 50 Premiership games at the Stamford Bridge. But Portuguese tactician is appalled by the fan behaviour.
Jose Mourinho believes that the Premiership Champions’ fans at Stamford Bridge are too quite and are inapt in backing their players. He is upset at the lack of vocal backing from the Blues supporters despite their impeccable record at home. Chelsea are playing well this season and are indeed the favorites for the Premier League title this season too, though they are placed second three points behind the Red Devils and the Gunners catching-up quickly.
“Why don’t they sing? They’re always quiet. For a team with this record at home, I think the players deserve a little bit more support. I’m not happy when 1,500 away fans, maximum 3,000, support more than our own people. It’s getting cold now. It’s winter and to sing and to move is good to fight against the temperature.”
Mourinho is one coach who I have seen throw both his medallions into the crowed each time Chelsea has won under his guidance, and for a coach with so much respect for the fans if resorts to criticism, then something is certainly wrong. Spectators play a major part in a team’s victory and defeat, if backed up well the player’s morale is definitely boosted. So all you Chelsea fans buck-up your team is longing for your support.
