Andrew Cole has signed a new two-year contract with Portsmouth. Pompey has agreed to pay an initial fee of £500,000, which could rise to £1m, depending on the number of appearances Cole makes. This former Man City Star is a mixture of agility, strength and experience. However, Man City wanted to keep the former Newcastle and Manchester United star but he expressed a desire to move on.
This old horse has an awesome opportunity to prove himself at Portsmouth, as he can play some good football for another two years. He can score some goals and try to get this struggling side in the top ten teams this season. As this would be what Pompey’s would be hoping this season.
