It’s early days in the English Premier League but the things have started heating up already… The Red Devils may have slipped from the top slot due to their under-power performances in their last two fixtures where they lost to the Gunners and drew to Reading. However now they seem to have got back into their grove… With a comprehensive victory over struggling Newcastle United… The former champions Chelsea had replaced Man U at the top spot but the Red Devils have got back to the top spot on goal difference. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have scored twice to set the pace for Man U… But it was Christiano Ronaldo who stole the spot light with some exhibition of great football, winning the man of the match award for his impeccable play… He set up the goals though he himself was unlucky not to find the net being denied by the post on five odd occasions. Both Chelsea and Manchester United are at 16 points each… But it is Man U who have their neck stuck out in front leading on goal difference… It will be a daunting task for them to hold on to the spot with former Champions giving them tough competition.
