Klinsmann praises his team despite defeat

Although Germany coach Jurgen Klinsmann disappointed for his team’s shocking defeat from Italy in the semifinals, he holds positive remarks on his team’s performances. He says that his young team has made the whole country proud. Klinsmann commented, We are hugely disappointed but you must compliment our team, they are a young team. The spirit and character they showed is amazing. They made a country proud. It is something very special to play a World Cup in your home country. We have many youngsters with a lot of quality. He added, The World Cup has been a huge success for the team and for the country and has shown a whole new German face to the world and that is something we can all be proud of. Italy scored two goals in the last minute of the extra time to axe the hosts from FIFA World Cup 2006.
