After a four-month layout the qualifiers for the European Championship, better known as the Euro qualifiers get under-way on Saturday. England placed low in Group E – further clutch onto dilemma with tough times for Steve McClaren as the side lingers with fitness crises. Winner take all is the scenario; looser stands no qualification possibility as England take on Israel -with both teams tied at seven points a piece in the Group. England’s squad may lack the fire-power but is one composed with a lot of talent – moving on in the competition not only requires a win over Israel, but also out-powering Russia and Croatia from the Group to move on the Euro ’08 finals. McClaren backs both Everton striker Andy Johnson and England’s wonder lad, Wayne Rooney to be decisive up front, with Lampard, Hargreaves, Gerrard and Lennon or Downing in the midfield, while Rio and skipper Terry will hold the defense, oh gosh! how did I miss out Jamie and Neville. The match will be played in Ramat Gan stadium, within an electrifying environment – several good teams have struggled for advantage. England could be backed to win however, home advantage will be vital for Israel.
