Gunners stunner in the brink of ninety continues - Kolo Toure’s equalizer against Bolton in the FA Cup slams doors for the latter while unlocks for the former.
The match was well poised before kickoff; the two were meeting here for the third successive season with the stats favoring none as both had game apiece to their name and the draw here leaves no outright advantage for any if they do meet in the near future.
It was Bolton that had knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup last season - though, the Gunners managed to avenge themselves but failed to make it convincing at all. Kevin Nolan scored through a Davies‘ cross in the fifth minute post half though failed to double for Bolton’s cause moments later.
After conceding the goal Arsenal picked stride in the second but had failed to trouble Bolton much before Toure headed home one in the 77th minute keeping the home sides contention alive in the competitions.
With the draw, Wenger and his co. will surely march into the next round at the FA Cup and their unbeatable record at the newly constructed home the Emirates stadium lives.
