Roberto Donadoni has been appointed as the coach of world champion Italy. He will take over from Marcello Lippi, the man who thoroughly guided Italy to win their fourth world cup title. Italian soccer federation Chief Guido Rossi has made this announcement. Former Italy and AC Milan midfielder Roberto Donadoni has good track record. He scored 21 goals appearing 339 games in Serie A, winning five league titles and three European titles with AC Milan. The 42-year-old Donadoni had scored five goals in 63 matches for Italy. Donadoni coached Lecco in Serie C1 in 2001-2 after retirement. He then moved Serie B clubs Livorno from 2002-2003 and Genoa from 2003-04.Before becoming coach of National team, Donadoni was the coach of Livorno.
