Robin Dragons can continue labelling Didier Drogba as the best striker in the Premier League for his stunning double against the gunners at home but I would still have my money placed on the more elegant Christiano Ronaldo.
It would be rather more appropriate to say that this was Drogba’s most satisfying performance of the season under demanding conditions, but to rate him as the best isn’t that pleasing a thought for there is still more to do. If he manages to get Chelsea the title home I would then tend too agree with Dragons thought.
Nothing against his brilliance on the day though for he single handedly snatched the game away from the gunners within a gap of 8 minutes, giving his side a 2-1 victory over them. This win has heated up the EPL battle yet again as the point difference between the Red Devils and the Blues is down to five, with the former leading the tally at 73 points.
The gunners though might loose interest in it for clinching the title from here is a real uphill task for them. Coupled with it they would also have to rely on heavy mistakes from the top two to see a change of fortunes, which, looks a distinct possibility from here considering their brilliant form.
