Argentina has made his move to the finals after crushing Mexico 3-0 in the second semifinal of the Copa America 2007. Defending champions Brazil, is the other team to reach the decider scheduled on Sunday.

While, Mexico and Uruguay will clash on Saturday, for the third place.

In the history of Copa America, Argentine’s have triumphed fourteen times in the finals leaving the Brazilian’s half way mark behind i.e. seven times. However, Brazil won 4-2 in penalty shootouts last time in 2004, beating the same arch-rivals.

Who will dominate on Sunday is just a matter of time. Both teams have fared well and posted a satisfactory display with headers and kicks.

Robinho has indeed been in a good nick so far by scoring a hat-trick in a Group B match against Chile and topping the goal scoring tally to 6 in 4 games so far.

Riquelme, the Argentine attacking midfielder, has also displayed his touch of skills. In quarterfinals against Peru, he scored two of Argentina’s four goals and captured his 5th goal of the tournament in the semifinal clash against Mexico, thereby becoming the second highest goal-scorer behind Robinho.

Earlier, Brazil eliminated Uruguay 5-4 in the first- semis, on the basis of penalty shoot-outs.

In the second semifinal Argentina made a clean sweep over Mexico, witnessing their complete dominance in the match. The trio - left-back Gabriel Heinze, Barcelona’s forward Lionel Messi and Riquelme bagged goals each to their name.
